Characteristics and Benefits
The platform incorporates various key technologies resolving many of the standard problems that demand ever-increasing capacities to handle concepts and new types of data, faster decision-making that needs to take into account more processes and information interrelated with the power and volume of data storage and analysis, thousands of times greater than the volumes previously handled.
These technologies facilitate the processing of complex events to reach decisions about large volumes of data as regards behavior, optimizing the administration of the services and making the best use of the available technical resources.
The system is installed and run on the most advanced platform for IT service management, the Amazon AWS Cloud systems.
ASP is a technology functioning on the server side, with the instructions always executed to send to the browser only the resulting HTML code.
The data access API is designed to use this simple language, allowing for the administration of any class of data together with the associated information.
Big Data Technology
Using the most advanced platform for the administration of Regulated Parking: the Amazon AWS Cloud systems. This likewise exploits the security offered by the structured and non-structured database replication systems.
Entity model, API, OQL
An entity refers to anything the existence of which can be perceived by any system. The data access API is designed to use a simple language (OQL) capable of administering any entity and its associated elements and collections. The platform provides easy-to-use web tools for the generation of OQL queries, along with entity exporters and explorers to facilitate visual data display. All elements that are or can be located have a GPS position. All entities have a unique ID within the system (and QR code), date of creation and modification, and all inherit a main characteristic known as "Entity", both for programming and for indication in the database.
IoT and Endpoint capture network
Capable of supporting the simultaneous processing of a great many tasks. In addition to information from the issuance of tickets, penalty notice reports, number plate readings, photographs, tow truck requests, etc., the huge quantity of derived information, such as positions and proximities for dynamic route calculation, access logs and actions and behaviors, calculation of metrics… all this needs to be stored, cataloged and available for analysis and administration.
To process all the information derived from the issuance of tickets, penalty notice reports, number plate readings, photographs, tow truck requests and derived information, such as positions and proximities for dynamic route calculation, access log and actions for behaviors or calculation of metrics, ParkXplorer has three parallel supercomputing networks, each functioning separately from the rest, in other words operating asynchronously.
Network 1:
Massive, flexible and super-fast data capture.
Network 2:
Execution of business processes.
Network 3:
Services and interfaces.
IoT platform
The platform interconnects with other systems through data capture devices, using IoT (Internet Things) technologies, integrating information derived from different devices to administer and provide data for municipal services.
Real-time, bespoke dashboards
One of the cutting-edge technologies provided by parkXplorer is the ease with which a system event indicator can be created, and used immediately on a dashboard. The dashboard designer facilitates the integration of the indicators to be included, their display format and browsing among objects.
There can be as many screens as necessary, since the system is prepared to be calculated once and displayed multiple times. These dashboards are normally used for display on video-wall monitors, but can also be used on normal or touchable screens.
Creation and editing of reports and documents
Users can design their documents, save and retrieve them to redo them in another format, accessing all system objects, associating them with KPIs, and generating reports in accordance with certain rules or alerts or process flows.
Any property of any object of the system can be selected to appear in the document, being shown natively in any format, whether PDF, Word, Excel or even Google Maps, depending on whether the object is located or locatable.
These documents can be programmed to be run periodically, and they are all serialized and saved within the system for subsequent revisions. A highly powerful and flexible system.
Record and entity explorer
The data stored in parkXplorer are fully browsable by a generic tool, the Record Explorer, which serves to filter, order, geographically visualize and export to Excel format all the entities present within the system.
The entity explorer can be used to view the basic properties of an entity, of its inheritances, its external associated elements and the collections of other entities connected with it.
Between two explorers, they can cover each and every one of the entities and the consistency of the relationship among objects is guaranteed by the inherent design of the system. Meanwhile, there is an SDK that facilitates the creation of more specific interfaces for administrative personnel.
Mobility application for technicians and controllers
Developed on a hybrid platform, with a local host linking the device hardware to the application screen forms. This host is developed in native format, available for Android and iOS.
The applications have been built in HTML5, CSS3 and JS, and need minor developments for adaptation to new operating systems, leaving their general functionality intact. HTML5 has become the king of web languages, as it is semantic, adaptable, flexible, scalable and multi-platform.
Backoffice
For those tasks connected with control, analysis, display and processing of data in real time.
Mobility app
For use by all mobility agents involved in the on-street parking service.
